I Really Like Writing

I wrote about summer vacation in the sixth grade.
My teacher told me to be a writer.
I “put it in a file and locked it away.”

I fell in love with the streets.
From age 13 to now, I’ve been interested in that life.

I didn’t realize that I could be writing about my life in the streets.
I was drinking a quart of beer, and I started writing on the paper bag.
