Karen Engle is the Minerva House Drysdale Regents Chair in Law at The University of Texas at Austin and the founder and co-director of the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice.  She will speak on indigenous human rights and her book, The Elusive Promise of Indigenous Development: Rights, Culture, Strategy (2010).

Respondents from NYU will include Hannah Gurman, Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Gallatin School and author of The Dissent Papers: The Voices of Diplomats in the Cold War and Beyond (2012), as well as a member of the NYU School of Law (TBA).
